FUMAC celebrates 165 years

Tommy Jensen, owner of FUMAC, celebrates his 60th birthday on Wednesday 25 May 2022 but that is not the only thing he celebrates that day. He is also celebrating his 40th anniversary  and that the company can celebrate its 65th anniversary.

Thank you very much for the many donations to ‘7830 supports Ukraine’ – a local Vinderup initiative (7830 refers to the postal code, ed.) that supports local Ukrainian refugees. A total of DKK 27,400 was collected – an amount which FUMAC subsequently raised by DKK 5,000. Read more here.

In the evening, the old furniture factory – Hanbjerg Møbelfabrik (furniture factory), the place where it all started – was transformed from showroom/warehouse to party room for all employees including their partners and Tommy and his wife Susanne Jensen’s friends and family. Among other things, we took a walk down memory lane with a historic picture wall. The sails in the ceiling added the finishing touch as a symbol of the maritime surroundings at Handbjerg harbor/marina as well as Tommy’s passion for sailing.
